Born Louth, Lincolnshire

1975 Gained B Sc in Psychology, University of Nottingham
1977 Began work in countryside management and wildlife conservation. Moved to mid-Wales and began photographing the landscape.
1984 Spent four months in arctic with Greenland white-fronted goose study group
1985 Gained Open University certificate 'The Changing Countryside'
1986 Welsh Arts Council starter grant
1986 SKYLINES - first solo exhibition opens at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, then tours in Wales
1988 GLASLYN - AN UPLAND LANDSCAPE -exhibition commissioned by Montgomery Wildlife Trust, tours in mid-Wales
1988-90
FARMING IS WORK FOREVER - commissioned by Greenpeace as part of their 'CLEAN IRISH SEA' group exhibition, opens in Dublin and tours in Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland
1990-92 AFTER THE WILDWOOD, major solo touring exhibition, opens in Wrexham and shows throughout Britain
1995  PATHFINDER GUIDE TO MID-WALES AND THE MARCHES published
